Crib to Class LLC · Last updated and effective: October 24, 2026

Crib to Class LLC ("Crib to Class," "we," "us") is a Florida limited liability company. We operate cribtoclass.com (and crib2class.com, which redirects to it). It's a free directory that helps parents and caregivers in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, Florida, find licensed child care, preschools, elementary schools, camps and clubs.

Crib to Class LLC is a separate business. It doesn't provide legal, medical, child-care or educational services, and it isn't affiliated with any government agency, school district or other business.

1. The short version

2. Who this policy covers

The site is meant for adults. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We never ask for information about your children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

3. Information we collect

3a. Visitors

WhatHowNotes
Search choices (category, age/grade, county, ZIP, radius, search text)Typed into the siteProcessed in your browser only. The site downloads its listing files and filters them on your device. We don't receive or store your searches.
Technical request data (IP address, browser/user-agent, the page requested, time)Sent automatically by your browser to our hosting provider, CloudflareCloudflare processes it to deliver and secure the site, and gives us aggregate traffic statistics (for example page views, visitor counts, countries and pages visited). We don't use it to identify visitors and don't keep our own visitor logs.
FontsServed from our own siteFonts are self-hosted, so your browser doesn't contact Google or any other font service.
Emails you send usWhen you write to [email protected]We use them to reply and to fix listings.
Cloudflare Web AnalyticsA small Cloudflare script that runs in your browserCounts page views, the page visited, the page you came from (referrer), country, browser, device type and page-load speed. It's cookieless, uses no local storage, doesn't fingerprint you and doesn't track you across sites. We see only aggregate totals.

Cookies and similar tools: The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage, advertising pixels or cross-site trackers. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when it detects suspicious traffic. We'll update this section if that changes.

3b. Providers

Requesting a claim link (programs on the Florida DCF list):

Asking to be listed or claimed (camps, clubs and private schools not on the DCF list):

Claiming and updating your listing (through your private claim link):

Unsubscribing: your listing ID, the time, IP address and user-agent, so we can honor the opt-out.

3c. Information from public sources

Listings are built from public government data, not from parents:

For family child care homes, we show the ZIP code only unless the provider claims the listing and chooses to show the street address. Family child-care home distances are approximate (ZIP area).

Inspections: We don't copy, host or display inspection reports or violation data. Each child-care listing links to the provider's official record on DCF's CARES search site, which is DCF's site and governed by DCF's policies.

4. How we use information

We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects, and we don't build advertising profiles.

5. What's public on the site

For a claimed listing, parents see the openings by age group, the date openings were confirmed, a "Claimed by provider" label and, for family child-care homes, the street address only if the provider chose to show it. Your name, role, email, phone (other than the program phone already on the public DCF record), private notes and opt-in choices are not shown.

6. How we share information

We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

Premium and future sponsored placements are advertising relationships with providers. Providers don't receive parents' personal information from us. If a future feature lets a parent message a provider, it'll do so only when the parent chooses to send a message, and we'll update this policy first.

7. How long we keep information

8. Security

We use HTTPS throughout. Claim and unsubscribe links are digitally signed so they can't be guessed or altered. Access to the stored data is limited to Crib to Class. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as Florida law requires (section 501.171, Florida Statutes).

9. Your choices and rights

10. Children's privacy

The site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we don't ask parents for information about their children. If we learn we've collected a child's information, we'll delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Listings link to DCF CARES, school-district and FLDOE pages, and providers' own websites. Their privacy practices are their own. We're not responsible for them.

12. Changes to this policy

We'll post any change here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we'll give notice on the site and, for providers who opted in to email, by email before it takes effect.
